Iris Bahr : Comedy & Jazz

Join award-winning American-Israeli comedian Iris Bahr (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”, “Hacks”, “Friends” and many more) as she appears as some of her popular comical characters, including Rae Lynn Caspar White (straight from Kentucky) and Shosh (a snooty ex-pat living in NYC) and performs with her fantastic jazz quartet for a night of interactive comedy, great music and song, and fun conversation with the American film director, producer and screenwriter Bryan Jay Singer (The Usual Suspects, X-Men, Superman Returns)

Iris Bahr – a comic, actor, writer and the host of the hit X-RAE podcast have appeared on numerous TV shows, including Friends, The Drew Carey Show, King of Queens, Star Trek, Hacks and The Connors and is best known for her recurring role on Curb your Enthusiasm, and her cable series Svetlana. In Israel she was a series regular on Bilti Hafich, playing Adi Ashkenazi’s sister, and Losing Alice.

Her critically acclaimed solo show, “DAI (enough)”, which she performed at the United Nations for over 100 ambassadors and delegates, had a hit run Off-Broadway, has toured around the world, and won the prestigious Lucille Lortel Award for Best Solo Performance, as well as two Drama Desk and UK Stage Award nominations.

As a stand-up comic, Iris has performed both in the US and abroad, and was chosen as one of the New Faces at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. She performs regularly in New York City and also hosts a weekly podcast X-RAE, as her alter ego Rae Lynn Caspar White.
